What the first free session actually looks like
You confirm your age, the shelf loads, and you read four or five cards before one sounds right. Opening it starts a conversation immediately — no build queue, no render wait, no form asking who you are. Most people send three or four messages, decide the character is 80 percent correct, and go looking for the trait that is wrong.
That is the point where the free tier proves itself: you can fix the trait, save the result as your version, and keep going without a payment screen appearing. The upgrade only comes up when you reach for something the free tier never claimed to have — and by then you already know whether the character is worth it.
